LTEC – The Legal Technology Education Conference

LTEC is a new in-person educational conference founded by a dedicated group of legal technology veterans who have spent decades navigating the complexities of modern legal practice. Tom O’Connor, Drew Goletz, Daya Naef, and Andrew Kent witnessed both the promise and the pitfalls of rapid technological change in the courtroom and the back office, and wanted to create LTEC to deliver the kind of grounded, practical education that is often missing from legal technology discussions. While artificial intelligence dominates headlines and vendor pitches, true technological competence in law requires far more than buying the latest tools. It demands fluency in ethics and risk management, operational excellence, intelligent information handling, strategic business development, and a clear-eyed view of the forces reshaping the profession. Our inaugural conference is built around this principle: going beyond AI. Our mission is to provide practical, expert-led education that empowers attorneys, legal operations professionals, and law firm leaders to integrate technology responsibly while upholding professional standards, improving efficiency and profitability, and delivering better outcomes for clients.
